A Year Of Firsts
North has had a big year. Not only did she just officially turn into a teenager, but she also just played her first music festival at the start of this month. The blue-haired icon had a fifteen-minute set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2026, which took place in Illinois. North sported a major stage presence, clearly taking after her rapper dad, Kanye.
Despite their differences, both Kim Kardashian and Kanye were in attendance to watch and support their firstborn as she jumped around the stage in an all-black outfit. The pair split in 2021 and have since had several low spots in their relationship. Fans of The Kardashians are well aware of the turmoil the couple faces as they try to work through their major differences.
However, this didn’t stop them from cheering on their little girl. During her performance, North wore her hair long and straight, hanging down past her hips and in a shade of electric blue. She also rocked some blacked-out shades, giving her a major cool girl vibe. As she performed, fans in the crowd went wild. Fans of North have watched her grow up on TV, so to see her on stage performing is a full-circle moment.
It seems that was just the start of North’s music career, though. Being brought up on stage with her dad and in front of a camera with her mom, it’s not a huge surprise that she would want a career of her own at a young age. That’s exactly what she’s doing.
North West’s First Tour Announced
North has announced that she will be taking the stage once more, starting in August, People reports. This time, co-headlining the Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour with Molly Santana. The tour includes 14 shows with the first one kicking off in Dallas on August 5th. From there, the tour hits major cities like Chicago, New York, and Boston.
Fans who are looking to buy tickets can do so with a presale on Wednesday, June 17. The general sale will be on Friday, June 19.
While it still hasn’t been confirmed if her parents will be there, it seems as though they would want to support their little girl as she embarks on such a big, cross-country journey.
