Sunday’s scheduled series finale between the Toronto Blue Jays and Cubs in Chicago was postponed due to inclement weather.
This game will be made up on Aug. 6, which was an off day for both teams.
The Cubs coasted to a 16-2 romp in the series opener on Friday, however they were unable to hold a five-run lead and dropped an 8-6 decision on Saturday.
Chicago will begin a seven-game road trip on Monday by opening a four-game series against the New York Mets.
The Blue Jays return to Toronto to begin a 10-game homestand, starting with Monday’s opener of a three-game series versus the Houston Astros.
