Savannah’s family has made headlines over the past few months since the disappearance of her mother, Nancy. At one point, Guthrie stepped away from her broadcasting duties, returning to NBC News in April.
Recently, Savannah shared some love to her husband in honor of Father’s Day, sharing a photo of him hugging their two children, Vale and Charley. The kids were smiling as they gave their father a hug, as he sported a loving look on his face.

In Savannah’s caption to the post, she dubbed Mike “our hero,” complete with a heart emoji, as she wished him a happy Father’s Day. She also shared the photo during an Instagram Story.
Throughout this trying time for the family, Mike has been known for showing his support towards Savannah. As the family’s followers know, the post appeared to be a response to one that Mike himself shared back in May. This was a Mother’s Day post featuring a photo of Savannah embracing her children. At the time, he shared, “To the strongest person I know. Surrounding you with love on Mother’s Day.”
