Hoda Kotb & Dylan Dreyer Recently Teamed Up With Another Member Of The Today Family
Both Kotb and Dreyer are known for their work with Today. Kotb joined the morning show in 2007, famously hosting the program’s fourth hour. She officially stepped down from her role on the show in 2025, though she has made appearances on the show since then.
For her part, Dreyer officially started her work with Today in 2012. She is known for her work as a meteorologist, serving as a Weekend Today weather anchor during her first broadcast. She also serves as a regular co-host for the program’s third hour.
Recently, the two Today alumni teamed up to get a head start on their Fourth of July festivities. In a carousel post, Kotb captioned with a simple, “Summer” the two could be seen having all sorts of summertime fun together.

The two were also joined by a third Today star. This was producer Katie Ryan, who joined the show in 2019, first joining NBC News in 2013.
The first slide featured Kotb and Dreyer with three of their friends out on the docks. In the next photo, the two stars’ children could be seen enjoying lunch indoors, away from the summer heat. Rounding out the post were another selfie and photos of fireworks.
The post was a joint share between both Dreyer and Kotb. For her part, Dreyer commented, “No better way to kick off summer!!” Ryan wrote, “Love ya!!” A few other Today stars also reacted to the post, with Sheinelle Jones sharing a few heart emojis.
Taking to the comments, fans shared their reaction to seeing Kotb and Dreyer enjoying some summer fun. A few noted how close everyone must be, saying that they were one big family. Some comments included:
