The Viking Row accompanies Haaland search
When you put Haaland’s name in the search box, it throws up the standard links but there is the added bonus of seven characters dressed in traditional Norwegian costume rowing across the bottom of the screen.
The visuals are accompanied by the sound of the drum that plays along to the ‘Viking Row’, the terrace phenomenon that has taken the World Cup by storm.
The move sees Norway fans pretend to row in unison to the beat of a drum. Haaland has orchestrated the manoeuvre after recent Norway games by beating the drum himself.
