An arrest warrant has been issued for Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jen Belichick, after she failed to appear in court last week.
Jen, the wife of Bill’s son Steve Belichick, was ordered to appear before a North Carolina judge on Friday, July 10, but failed to do so. The warrant for her arrest was issued on Monday, July 13, according to court documents viewed by Us Weekly.
The warrant is related to a traffic stop on May 21, when Jen was pulled over for misdemeanor speeding after being accused of going 88 MPH in a 70 MPH zone.
Jen had not been arrested at the time of this story’s publication. Us has reached out to Jen for comment.
Despite the seriousness of the matter, Jen appeared to maintain a sense of humor about the ordeal. She posted a screenshot of a story about the arrest warrant to her Instagram Story on Monday, July 13, with the caption: “I HIRED AN ATTORNEY!!!!!”

A court official told the California Post that Jen currently has three options: she can file a motion to recall the order, hire an attorney to handle the matter for her, or turn herself in.
Jen and Steve have been married since June 2017. Steve, 39, currently works on his father’s coaching staff as the defensive coordinator for the University of North Carolina. He previously worked on Bill’s New England Patriots’ coaching staffs from 2012 to 2023.
Jen has recently been an outspoken critic of Bill’s relationship with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. Bill, 74, and Hudson, 25, have been dating since 2023.
In May 2025, Jen criticized Hudson’s behavior in Bill’s now-infamous CBS Sunday Morning interview, during which Hudson declared Bill would not be answering questions about how the couple met.
When comedian Nikki Glaser defended Hudson, saying she was simply acting as Bill’s “publicist,” Jen fired back on social media.
“Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” Jen wrote via Instagram.
In November 2025, Jen reportedly went on a nearly hour-long rant about Hudson after a North Carolina football game.
According to the New York Post, Jen allegedly said all Hudson does “is control s**t” and called her “bats**t crazy.”
Jen allegedly told Bill to “wake up” before issuing him an ultimatum outside of his office within earshot of others in the building.
“You choose your family or you choose [Hudson],” she reportedly told Bill.
