Travis Scott‘s parenting skills are being put on blast after fans noticed a cold pattern with his daughter, Stormi Webster.
The famous rapper attained fatherhood in 2018 after welcoming Stormi with socialite Kylie Jenner. Five years down the line, their son, Wolf Webster, joined the family.
Scott and Jenner have since broken up and remain amicable co-parents, but fans think the entertainer is slacking in doing his part.
Scott has been making media rounds for his cameo in the highly anticipated Christopher Nolan project, “The Odyssey.”
During a recent stop at “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the rapper brought along his eight-year-old as his plus one, making it the ultimate father-daughter adventure.
Although Stormi didn’t join her father on air, the pair took heartwarming photos behind the stage. In one snapshot that has gone viral, they posed in front of the show’s signage. Scott opted for his signature all-black look comprising a leather jacket and pants.
His daughter, however, was the opposite in a colorful rainbow cropped sweater paired with baggy jeans. Stormi held on tightly to her famous dad, wrapping her arms around his waist as he posed with one hand underneath his chin and the other tucked away.
Scott Bashed For Not Being Affectionate With His Daughter
It didn’t take long for eagle-eyed fans to study the image and notice something distant about Scott’s body language with his daughter.
“And he is still aura farming in the pics. Boy, if you don’t hold ur d-mn kid,” one fan criticized, while another observed, “elbow in her face is wild.”
A similar remark read, “Lmaooo why was his body language like that around his daughter? Like she’s a fan he’s emotionally disconnected from.” Others noted the rapper always acted nonchalantly and continued even in the presence of his child. “You can tell she craves his affection,” this comment read.
“Why is he never acknowledging his kid? She’s not an accessory. Can’t put his arm around her? Can’t hold her hand on stage?” this user questioned.

The backlash from fans comes after the Texas native brought out his little one as a special guest during his performance at the 2026 Fanatics Fest held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York.
It is no strange sight seeing the Kardashian-Jenner kids in the spotlight, just like North West has done on multiple occasions with her father, Kanye West.
During a rendition of “SICKO MODE,” a shy Stormi accompanied her father onstage and trailed behind him as he sang for the crowd. The eight-year-old kept following Scott as he performed, as seen in a clip on X.
Online users were far from pleased by how he didn’t hold his daughter’s hand and left her feeling overwhelmed. “It’s wild how people can perform in front of thousands but acting like a dad for 10 seconds is somehow the difficult part,” a harsh remark read.

Scott’s parenting isn’t the only thing making headlines lately. According to The Blast, a night out in New York including several high-profile guests turned chaotic when the rapper got into an altercation.
The drama began when Scott reportedly noticed someone recording him at the private event hosted by Raising Cane held at Zero Bond. Angered, the 30-year-old approached the individual and a fight broke out.
“It all happened really fast. It started fast and broke up really quickly,” one eyewitness recalled. Members of Scott’s team reportedly began throwing bottles as things heated up.
Alix Earle, Logan Paul, Jake Paul, Tate McRae, and NBA player Jordan Clarkson, who intervened in the brawl, were among the popular faces at the event.
Travis Scott Still Wants A Grammy Winner
Despite the negative chatter, Scott remains focused on chasing after his dreams and goals.
The “Stargazing” artist recently opened up about his career aspirations as his latest track, “When I’m Home,” which he created for Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” sparks Oscars buzz.
“I still need a Grammy, but I would love to take home an Oscar. That’d be cool,” Scott confessed, per The Blast.
He explained that while he doesn’t feel unfulfilled about not having the prestigious awards, he believes the accolades represent “something.”
