The View hosts discussed Tucker Carlson’s shocking take on women in the workplace. Whoopi Goldberg expressed disgust at the former Fox News host “foaming” at the mouth during the discussion. Keep reading for all the details.
Former Fox News Host Makes Controversial Comments About Women In The Workplace
Tucker Carlson was one of Fox News’ most popular hosts. But he was ousted from the network in 2023 amid a lawsuit over Fox’s coverage of the 2020 election. The lawsuit was eventually settled for $787.5 million, but not before his embarrassing text messages were leaked of him criticizing President Trump and the claims that the election was stolen.
Like many former news anchors, Tucker Carlson took his views to the podcast scene. The topic of feminism and women in the workplace came up during a discussion with Bloomberg’s Mishal Husain. Tucker Carlson has three daughters and one son with his wife, Susan Andrews. He refused to discuss his daughters during the interview, but shared his opinion on women and feminism. “Women in general want the man to make the decision, as you well know,” he said.
They were discussing whether men should have the final say in household decisions. Tucker Carlson believes that women want men to make the decisions for them and any woman who says otherwise is lying.
“Feminism is an op[eration] run by big business to lower the price of labor and to free up a massive and incredibly productive female workforce, and that’s been bad for the country,” the former Fox News host claimed.

The View Whoopi Goldberg Disgusted By Tucker Carlson ‘Foaming’ At Mouth
Tucker Carlson’s view isn’t surprising. He’s built a career out of sharing his conservative opinions. But The View hosts took issue with his comments anyway. Alyssa Farah Griffin was especially offended by Tucker Carlson implying that working mothers are bad mothers.
Alyssa Farah Griffin welcomed her first child in February and took just two months off from the ABC talk show. “My most progressive girlfriends, my most successful, you know, corporate CEO girlfriends, those are people who still center their families as the center of their life. I don’t know a woman who is a mother who doesn’t put her children at the center of her life,” she said.
Alyssa Farah Griffin continued, “I’m not a trust fund kid like Tucker Carlson. I work because I need to pay for my lifestyle. Doesn’t mean I love my kid any less. Like, it’s such a sick notion of who we are.”
But before getting that deep into the discussion, Whoopi Goldberg had some advice for Tucker Carlson: “Wipe your face!” She noticed that the former Fox News host appeared to have something on his face during the interview.
Joy Behar joked that maybe he was “foaming at the mouth” over the discussion of women in the workplace. Whoopi Goldberg said that the reason women want to work and go to college is that “they didn’t want to be told what to do by dumb gentlemen like yourself.”
