Dylan Dreyer was married to her former husband for over a decade. They divorced in March 2026 after 12 years of marriage. They met while working at the same news station in Boston and married in 2012. They welcomed their first son, Calvin, in 2016, their second son, Oliver, in 2020, and finally, their third son, Rusty, in 2021.
The former couple moved to New York City in 2012 when Dylan Dreyer was hired at the Today Show. She documented moving out of the family’s New York City apartment after the divorce. She’s a single mother of three boys for now, but is romance in her future? Dylan Dreyer spoke to HELLO! magazine about finding love again after divorce. “I would say I’m open to it. I don’t know how to do it… it’s been a long time and my focus is on the kids and the family,” she told the outlet.

The show reportedly increased security to ease fears. But that doesn’t help the stress in Dylan Dreyer’s home life. Her three sons are 9, 6, and 4 now. While she has a good co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband, raising three boys is a lot of work.
She took to social media on July 22 to share a glimpse at her life as a boy mom. “Nothing more stressful than coming home from work and playing Stratego,” she wrote on a photo of her three kids posing near a Stratego board.
The chess-like board game is a game of strategy and luck. Players are given 40 army pieces to protect their flag and attack other players. The winner is the first to capture an opponent’s flag or block them in so they have no moves left.
