Outer Banks Gears Up for One Last Adventure in Explosive Final Season Trailer

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for the fifth and final season of Outer Banks, teasing an emotional and action-packed farewell as the Pogues set out on one last mission.

The hit coming-of-age adventure series will return on 20th August, bringing to a close the treasure-hunting saga that has captivated audiences since its debut in 2020. Picking up after the devastating events of season four, the final chapter sees John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope and Cleo reeling from the loss of their friend JJ as they embark on a dangerous quest for revenge.

The newly released trailer promises the high-stakes action fans have come to expect, with explosive shootouts, dramatic chases and emotional reunions. Set across stunning international locations, the Pogues find themselves pursuing Chandler Groff, the man responsible for JJ’s death, while also attempting to reclaim the stolen Blue Crown.

According to Netflix, the group are “at their absolute breaking point”, stranded far from home and forced into an uneasy alliance with Rafe as familiar enemies continue to close in. The season promises to explore grief, friendship and loyalty while delivering one final treasure hunt.

Returning cast members include Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Carlacia Grant and Drew Starkey, with J. Anthony Crane reprising his role as the villainous Chandler Groff.

Synopsis | Season 5 finds the Pogues at their absolute breaking point following the tragic loss of JJ in Morocco. The final season of Outer Banks will premiere on Netflix on 20th August.
