The move will take the men’s competition to nine teams and further broaden the league’s footprint across Mumbai and its surrounding regions.
The development comes shortly after the conclusion of the fourth edition in June, which the MCA described as a successful season that generated strong interest among fans while delivering competitive domestic cricket.
Navi Mumbai to get its own franchise

The documents will be available from August 10 to August 25, 2026, with interested bidders able to obtain them between 11 am and 6 pm during the specified period.
