Pimpla Vins
A younger, lively take on the natural wine bar. Pimpla has a fun atmosphere, plenty of interesting wines and a menu of small plates designed for sharing. A good option if you want somewhere relaxed that still feels like a night out.
Carrer de l’Encarnació, 21 (Gràcia).
Viblioteca
If wine and cheese sounds like your ideal dinner, head here. Viblioteca has a huge selection of artisan cheeses and around 200 wines, many of them minimal-intervention, along with other dishes if you want something more substantial. Their wine and cheese pairings are the main reason to come. Read my review here.
Carrer de les Guilleries, 10 (Gràcia).
If you’re staying in Gràcia into the evening, Casa Figari is worth knowing about. It’s a bar and music venue with live jazz during the week and DJ selectors at weekends. Later in the evening, it turns into somewhere people actually dance and have a good time rather than simply sit with a drink.
A good option if dinner near Parc Güell turns into a full night out in Gràcia.
Carrer del Torrent de l’Olla, 141 (Gràcia).
FAQ
Where should I eat near Parc Güell?
For a proper meal, Fino Bar, Santa Magdalena and Oído are all excellent options in nearby Gràcia. For something more casual, head to La Rovira, while Sartoria Panatieri is the obvious choice if you’re in the mood for pizza.
Are there good restaurants near Parc Güell?
Yes, but it’s worth walking (far) away from the immediate entrances to the park. Parc Güell sits within the Gràcia nieghborhood, and walking downhill towards Vila de Gràcia gives you a much better selection of restaurants, tapas bars, cafés and wine bars, and it’s a popular destination for locals for food and drinks.
Where can I eat tapas near Parc Güell?
Fino Bar and Oído are two of my favorite options for contemporary tapas and small plates. Santa Magdalena is a particularly good choice if you’d prefer more traditional Catalan cooking.
Where can I have breakfast near Parc Güell?
EatMyTrip near Lesseps is a good choice for a full breakfast or brunch, while Flor de Gràcia is better if you just want excellent pastries. Niwa Cafeteria is my pick for matcha, coffee, and other drinks.
Where can I drink natural wine near Parc Güell?
Gràcia has several excellent natural wine bars. Bar Salvatge is one of the best-known, while Pimpla Vins has a younger, livelier atmosphere. Viblioteca is particularly good if you want to pair your wine with artisan cheese.
Is Gràcia close to Parc Güell?
Yes. Parc Güell itself is located in the Gràcia neighborhood, although the main restaurant-filled streets of Vila de Gràcia are further downhill. If you have time after visiting the park, it’s well worth continuing into the neighborhood rather than heading straight back into central Barcelona. The area is mostly pedestrian, and it’s very lively in the evenings.
Is it worth visiting Gràcia after Parc Güell?
Definitely. Gràcia is one of the best areas in Barcelona for eating, drinking and simply walking around, with independent shops, lively squares, restaurants and wine bars. Combining Parc Güell with lunch or dinner in Gràcia makes a lot of sense and is an easy way to see a different side of the city.
