After weeks of mock-ups and sketchy leaks, factory-CAD renderings of Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Ultra have surfaced, showcasing a new design for Samsung’s top flagship handset.
Leaks from Android Headlines in collaboration with OnLeaks (both have been pretty on the ball with leaks in the past) are revealing CAD-based renders created by OnLeaks, based on factory designs.

While the front of the handset remains unchanged, the camera module on the back sees the biggest change from Samsung’s S series design in years. Now it looks like a hybrid of the S26 Ultra and the iPhone 17 Pro series, with Samsung adopting the ‘camera plateau.’ Android Headlines points out that this gives room for larger cameras and more cooling space, but it’s worth mentioning that AH leaked that the S26 Edge would look like this, but that handset got canceled.
OnLeaks says that the S27 Ultra offers these dimensions: 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm, which is slightly thicker than the S26 Ultra, but the difference is pretty negligible.
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme (I guess), and use a 6.9-inch display with a hole-punch selfie camera. Some rumours point to the device featuring a 5,700mAh battery, which would be a big, surprising change for Samsung after years of smaller batteries.
And of course, the S27 Ultra is expected to sport an S Pen within the device. The S27 Ultra is expected to launch in August or September.
