Jenna Bush Hager has been in the public eye since she was a young girl. She was 7 when her grandfather, George H.W. Bush, was elected President. She and her twin sister, Barbara, were in college when their father, George W. Bush, took office. Dating as the First Daughter wasn’t easy, despite going to college thousands of miles away from the White House.
Jenna Bush Hager met her future husband when he was working on her father’s re-election campaign. They tied the knot at a private ceremony at the family’s ranch in Texas. That was nearly twenty years ago. They share three children. However, she would leave it all behind for one female celebrity.
The topic of celebrity hall passes came up on Jenna and Sheinelle this week. Jenna Bush Hager reminded her co-host that she already revealed hers last year. “Do you know that Brandi Carlile is the woman I would leave my husband for? I’m not sure I’ve ever said it exactly straight up, but she is,” she told Today guest host Matt Rogers in May 2025.

The Today host recounted a time when she revealed a massive crush on model Tyson Beckford. The producers then brought him on as her guest co-host.
She then proceeded to ignore her own advice and reveal her current celebrity hall pass. “This is cougar vibes, but I’m just saying I think I like a physique, and it happens to be this one. He’s all over my Instagram feed because you can’t lie to Instagram. Plus, he seems like a really nice guy,” she said about British soccer player Jude Bellingham.
The talk show host is still mourning her late husband, Uche Ojeh. He passed away last year after a brief battle with brain cancer. However, she can still appreciate a man with a good “vibe.”
