While we have to wait until Oct 9 for “Generic Everything” the brand new Chase & Status album there’s a brand new single out this week that will take you back to the early 00s where the “Pure Shores” era by All Saints created a whole new aesthetic in music.That song was the first thing that came to my mind when i first heard “Gone Too Far”.Deborah Ehirim, known mononymously as Debbie, has teamed up with drum and bass duo Chase & Status for a totally different dnb anthem with a mainstream appeal that could dominate the radio.It was written by British rapper, singer, and songwriter Plan B while production duties were handled by Chase & Status.This softer and more musical side to the duo creates a whole new potential to reach new audience and can definitely be the best new release this week and one of the best this month.
