Noah Kahan sold out both of his Wembley shows and his Dublin date. The Vermont singer-songwriter is now directing anyone without tickets to sign up for a waitlist on his official tour site.

Kahan broke the news on Instagram this week. He kept it short: “Oh my god both Wembley shows and the Dublin show sold out. If you didn’t get tickets, sign up for the waitlist on my tour site.” The post pulled close to 150,000 likes. For an indie folk artist, that kind of response hits different.

Three sellouts. Wembley twice, Dublin once. That’s a real milestone.

Kahan’s been one of folk-pop’s better stories for a few years now. He’s a Vermont guy through and through, and that comes through in his music. Cold winters, emotional honesty, and no production shine required. His album “Stick Season,” named after the bare-tree stretch of autumn Vermont is known for, was the record that changed things. It didn’t just grow his audience. It changed the kind of venues and crowds he could expect.

That record spread the way the best music does, through people telling other people. Streams climbed. Playlists picked it up. Songs like “Northern Attitude” and “Stick Season” became the kind of tracks people passed along with a personal note attached. The live shows kept pace. Small theaters became proper venues. Proper venues became sold-out arenas.

    And now Wembley. Twice.

It’s worth noting how rare that kind of trajectory is for a folk act. Artists in this lane tend to have devoted but smaller audiences. Kahan has grown well past that ceiling without abandoning what made people pay attention in the first place.

“Dial Drunk,” his collaboration with Post Malone, showed Kahan could share space with a mainstream pop heavyweight without losing his own voice. The folk-pop core stayed intact. The audience got a lot wider.

He’s also built a real reputation as a live performer. Multiple sold-out U.S. tours preceded this European push. Reviews of his live shows have consistently noted his connection with the crowd. He connects with rooms full of people, and that shows. That kind of reputation travels.

Wembley has hosted some of the biggest acts in music history. Getting two nights there isn’t handed to anyone. For someone who built a following one honest song at a time, these sellouts carry real weight. Dublin adds to the story. The city has long been a warm market for folk and singer-songwriter acts. Kahan clearly connects there.

The waitlist is live on his official tour site. Returned tickets do tend to surface over time. It’s worth getting in the queue.

Watching Kahan reach this point is one of music’s better feel-good stories right now. No industry machine, no manufactured moment. A Vermont kid who wrote honest songs about home, and those songs traveled further than expected. Wembley is a big room. He’s earned it.
