Cunard has unveiled shore experiences for its 2027 World Voyages.  In January, Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, will embark on her maiden voyage to South America, while Queen Victoria will set sail on a Full World Voyage.

The ships will offer nearly 600 curated shore experiences designed to immerse guests in the culture, history and natural beauty of the places they visit.  Queen Anne’s 90-night South America Discovery Voyage will have 15 maiden calls across the continent, visiting seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Argentina. The voyage will also include maiden calls to Casablanca, Morocco, and Bridgetown, Barbados, as well as visits to the Turks and Caicos. In addition, the itinerary includes an overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro, coinciding with the Rio Carnival.

Cunard shore experiences offer guests exclusive opportunities to experience the celebrations, from elegant VIP Camarote suites to front-row parade views, accompanied by premium food and beverages.

Guests can also discover Rio’s most celebrated landmarks by day, including Sugarloaf Mountain, which offers breathtaking views over Guanabara Bay, and the iconic Christ the Redeemer, considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Another highlight is a four-day overland adventure to Machu Picchu. Departing the ship in Arica and rejoining in Callao, guests will journey deep into Peru, discovering the region’s spectacular landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

The adventure culminates at the Lost City of the Incas.  During an overnight call in Buenos Aires, guests can immerse themselves in Argentina’s cuisine, wine and rich cultural traditions. Experiences range from a tango performance and wine tastings to a culinary walking tour and an intimate dinner hosted by a local family.

Queen Victoria’s 109-night World Voyage will depart Southampton on Jan. 10 – the same day as Queen Anne – on a sailing that includes calls to Hong Kong, Sydney and Cape Town; overnight stays in New York, Los Angeles and Singapore; and maiden calls to Dakar, Durban and El Salvador. From the engineering marvel of the Panama Canal to the turquoise waters of Honolulu and Nouméa, the voyage “offers a rich tapestry of cultures, landscapes and experiences.”

In Hong Kong, guests can explore one of Asia’s most dynamic cities on a Grand Tour featuring the sights of the bustling city and a Cantonese lunch or enjoy a sunset harbour cruise. Alternatively, guests can escape the city across the world’s longest two-deck suspension bridge to Lantau Island, home to a sandy beach that stretches two miles, the impressive bronze Tian Tan Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery.

In Sydney, adventurous guests can take part in an evening climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, enjoying spectacular 360-degree views across the harbor and city skyline. Beyond the city, guests can journey into the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, known for their dramatic ravines, towering cliffs and forested plateaus, or visit the vineyards of the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest commercial wine-growing district.

An overnight stay in Cape Town allows guests to ascend Table Mountain by cable car for panoramic views or explore the historic Groot Constantia wine estate, South Africa’s oldest wine farm. After sampling wines, guests can continue to Hout Bay for a cruise offering views of Cape fur seals on Duiker Island and the dramatic surrounding coastline.

Guests sailing on Queen Victoria’s Full World Voyage or Queen Anne’s South America Discovery can enjoy exclusive benefits, including a commemorative gift, cocktail receptions, a special shoreside celebration, dedicated concierge service and access to a private lounge. Guests may also choose to sail shorter World Voyage segments, ranging from just a few nights to extended regional itineraries.
