Trump goes after Spanish impressionist for mocking Melania
US President Donald Trump has attacked a Spanish impressionist for her late-night talk show impressions of his wife, First Lady Melania Trump.
Cristina Gallego, a regular on left-wing La Sexta talk show El Intermedio, revealed recently that reports in Mexico suggested the President had seen her impressions and was less than impressed.
“He’s very angry and is looking for us to sue us and put us in jail,” confirmed the comedian, adding that Trump may sue El Intermedio.
Numbers of immigrants reporting lost passports to regularise status soars
Spanish police have warned of a “significant increase” in reports of lost passports filed by undocumented immigrants seeking to take advantage of the government’s mass regularisation process.
According to reports from Spanish outlets El Español and verified by 20minutos, reports from Pakistani citizens have skyrocketed by 866.67 percent and those from Algerians have increased by 356.25 percent between January 15th and February 6th, compared to the same period last year.
The General Commissariat for Immigration and Borders also revealed that, after “full identification of the foreigner,” it has been verified that many of these complainants had “criminal and/or police records in Spain or other countries.”

England and Spain drawn together in UEFA Nations League
Spain and England will face each other in the next edition of the UEFA Nations League following Thursday’s draw, which also threw up a clash between France and Italy while Germany and the Netherlands will renew their rivalry.
Spain, who beat England in the final of Euro 2024, won the Nations League in 2023 and lost last year’s final, on penalties, to Portugal.
They will come up against Thomas Tuchel’s England side in Group A3, with the Czech Republic and beaten 2023 finalists Croatia completing the section.
The Nations League will be the focus for European international football for the year after the 2026 World Cup, before attention switches to Euro 2028 qualifying.
