The first trailer for Fuze has arrived, teasing a tense London-set thriller that combines bomb disposal drama with a daring criminal plot.
Directed by David Mackenzie, the filmmaker behind Hell or High Water and Outlaw King, the film reunites him with Aaron Taylor-Johnson following their previous collaboration. Taylor-Johnson leads the cast as Major Will Tranter, a bomb disposal expert called in when a Second World War-era unexploded bomb is discovered at a busy construction site in central London.
The discovery forces authorities to evacuate the surrounding area, triggering widespread disruption across the city. However, amid the chaos and mounting tension, a group of criminals see an opportunity. Using the evacuation as cover, they launch an audacious heist while emergency services are focused on preventing disaster.
The film also stars Theo James as Karalis, the mastermind behind the criminal operation, alongside Gugu Mbatha-Raw as a senior police officer attempting to maintain control of the unfolding crisis. Sam Worthington also appears as one of the key figures connected to the robbery.
With its ticking-clock premise, the trailer highlights the collision between two high-pressure situations: the race to neutralise a potentially devastating bomb and a meticulously planned robbery unfolding in the background. The result is a tightly wound thriller where every decision carries enormous risk.
Set against the backdrop of modern London, Fuze promises a suspense-driven story built on escalating stakes, shifting alliances and the possibility that not everyone involved can be trusted. Blending the intensity of a bomb disposal drama with the mechanics of a classic heist film, the project looks poised to deliver a fast-paced and explosive cinematic ride.
Fuze is set for cinemas on April 24th.
