However, he said it was because he never dreamed he would get on The Today Show. Fans love him as their weatherman and could not imagine the show without him. However, at some point, someone else is going to have to fill his shoes. He can not stay on the show forever, as he is going to want to retire at some point. It could be sooner than fans want.
He Reveals If He Has Had Any ‘Groupies’ Since Fame
Howard Stern joined The Today Show to help celebrate Al Roker’s 30 years. However, he asked a question that a lot of people weren’t expecting:
“I know you don’t like controversy, but — do you have weather groupies? Are there women out there who are ready to sleep with you in a minute? Answer the question. Have there been women who have thrown themselves at you, and you have to say, ‘Look, I’m a professional — no.’ Has there been anything tawdry?”
Al laughed the question off. He revealed that he had not partaken in any “groupies”. However, fans were shocked that Howard asked the question. Al did joke that his co-anchor, Craig Melvin, had thrown himself at him a time or two.
