Jeanine Searcy, the CEO of Black Girls in Real Estate, has come under fire, accused of defrauding multiple Black women out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. This, allegedly, through fraudulent real estate coaching programs and investment projects. Furthermore, investors allege that they were promised high returns on home flips. But instead, they only received missing funds and broken contracts.

Now, those women are sharing their stories and the legal battle that now lies ahead.

The Shade Room’s Justin Carter is getting into it on ‘TSR Investigates.’

More On The Atlanta Home Flipping Fraud Allegedly Involving The CEO of Black Girls in Real Estate

According to Carter, New Jersey resident Tara Jenkins spent $25,000 on eight virtual real estate courses with Atlanta-based Jeanine Searcy. Per Jenkins, Searcy reportedly helped her and her husband obtain $120,000 in business credit. With this, they reportedly started on their journey of real estate flipping — or so they thought.

Per Jenkins, Searcy approached her about a “personal deal” in Atlanta, wondering if she’d like to get involved. Ultimately, Jenkins agreed and reportedly invested $90,000 into the house flip. Then, in March 2024, Jenkins says she visited the site without Searcy, and the location looked untouched. This reportedly raised a red flag for Jenkins, who expected the property to be renovated within 6 months. Additionally, Jenkins expected to recoup her initial $90,000 investment along with a $90,000 profit.

More On Jeanine Searcy Being Accused Of Fraud

By May 2025, Jenkins was “out of money” to invest in the still-uncompleted project. She wanted to exit the contract. However, she says, to date, Searcy has yet to pay back her initial investment. But Tara Jenkins isn’t alone.

Scroll above to watch as Tennessee resident Charlotte Walcott and Georgia resident Lakesha McClenton detail their alleged experiences with Jeanine Searcy. Furthermore, with one experience allegedly involving a home that was sold and burned down unbeknownst to them both. Ashley Wilson, a South Carolina resident, also details her experience with Searcy and how she’s allegedly still waiting for her return after investing $60,000 in a Chicago project. Lastly, Carter even shares a public statement from Jeanine Searcy herself.
