Amanda Bynes Teases New Career After OnlyFans

Amanda Bynes continues to find new ways to make a comeback in the entertainment industry.

The former child actress left Hollywood on a sour note following mental health and substance abuse issues. She was also under a conservatorship from 2013 to 2022 and later attempted to return to the spotlight.

According to her latest social media updates, Amanda Bynes has a new career project in the works months after joining the OnlyFans platform. Unlike how many use the explicit site, she chose to join for non-sexual reasons.

Bynes updated her Instagram page with a teaser of her latest career venture, music! She shared a preview of the upcoming song, which featured EDM beats and what appeared to be Bynes singing, “I want to be your girlfriend.”

“Cooking up in the studio. Want this to be a dance trance edm track. We’ll see where we go with it,” Bynes captioned the post. She also tagged rapper Yung Yogi, a producer named Zabastien Lucas, and a female singer called Nikki Paige.

From the preview video, Bynes and Paige’s names could be seen as the artists of the song, whose title partly reads “Girlfriend.” Lucas reshared the post on his Instagram Story alongside the words: “‘Bout to be so fire!” Paige also shared his post on her Instagram Story.

Bynes’ post received positive reactions from fans, with many grooving along to the beat with dance GIFs. Others celebrated her return to the spotlight, with someone writing, “Love to see you continuing to make art and live your life!”

Another IG user echoed similar sentiments, penning their love for Bynes. “YESSS AMANDA!!!! I would be overjoyed to watch you step into your EDM era. I can’t wait,” the fan declared. A third expressed excitement for Bynes’ new song, while a fan claimed they had the preview on repeat.

The love and support for Bynes continued, with photographer and creative director Casie Wendel offering to shoot the music video for Bynes’ upcoming song. “I love that you’re finally doing what you want and not what society wants. It’s freeing, isn’t it!” someone added.

Bynes’ desire to join the music industry came several months after she became an OnlyFans member. The Blast covered the story in April 2025, reporting that she had joined the x-rated content platform to connect with fans in a non-sexual way.

When Bynes announced her participation on the platform, she stressed that she would only use the chat feature to connect with fans instead of posting “sleazy content.” A source shared the same view, claiming the former actress hoped to have a closer relationship with fans.

“She wants to make it a spot where fans can go and treat it like a meet and greet,” the source explained, noting Bynes would tell stories from her past. Additionally, she planned on using the platform to showcase her talents as a fashion designer.

Months after joining OnlyFans, Bynes opened up about her weight loss transformation. The Blast shared in December 2025 that she reposted a paparazzi picture on Instagram, which captured her out and about in Los Angeles.

Bynes explained that she usually disliked the pictures taken by the paparazzi because she used to weigh 180lbs. However, after losing 28lbs thanks to Ozempic, she no longer feared getting photographed in public. “I know I still look big, but this photo is really inspiring to me!” she raved.

The media personality first announced her Ozempic usage in the Summer of 2025, admitting that she was excited to hop on the popular weight loss drug. At the time, she confessed that her goal was to reach 130lbs so she could look better in paparazzi pictures.

A month before raving about her weight loss transformation, The Blast reported that Bynes had shut down false speculations about her. The drama began when a TikTok account shared a since-deleted video that suggested the Nickelodeon alum got pregnant at 13.

The video was stitched in a way that it appeared to be from Bynes, but she cleared the air on her Instagram Story. The former actress explained that she did not own a TikTok account nor did she authorize someone to post on her behalf.

Bynes alleged that someone was stealing her content and “posting lies” as though they were from her as clickbait. She previously denied the pregnancy speculations in a statement, revealing that the since-deleted video was created using different clips to push a false narrative.
