Amazon Canada announced the dates of its next big sale for Prime members.
The four-day Prime Big Deal Days sale will kick off on October 7 at 12:01 a.m. PT with deals on electronics and more. Amazon also highlighted that local Canadian brands will have deals during the sale.
Access to the sale is exclusive to Amazon Prime members. A Prime membership costs $9.99/mo or $99/year in Canada, plus there’s a free 30-day trial available now. If you sign up for the free trial, you can shop Prime Big Deal Days and then cancel afterward, unless you want to keep it. (And you may want to act on this sooner rather than later — during Prime Day in July, Amazon replaced the 30-day free trial with a $0.99 seven-day trial.)
Amazon has other Prime subscriptions available as well, such as one for young adults (19-24) and students that only costs $4.99/mo or $49/year and comes with a six-month free trial.
Aside from shopping benefits, Amazon Prime includes other perks, like access to Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music Prime, Amazon Photos, and even free DashPass.
The online retail giant is starting some Prime Big Deal Days discounts today, with preview deals covering products from Dell, LG, and Bose, as well as up to 50 per cent off select Amazon devices like the Echo Pop, Fire TV Stick 4K, and Kindle Paperwhite.
Beyond tech, Amazon has discounts on toys (Lego, Mattel, Melissa & Doug), home products (Keurig, Shark, Nespresso), up to 80 per cent off Kindle books, and more.
