Apple TV are set to bring back one of their most popular series, Sugar, for a second season this summer.
Colin Farrell reprises his role as John Sugar in a new set of eight episodes inspired by classic film noir. His latest case sees him tracking down the troubled brother of a young boxer, while still trying to solve the mystery surrounding the disappearance of his own sister.
In addition to Farrell, the second season of Sugar introduces new cast members, including Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, Sasha Calle and special guest star Shea Whigham.
Our writer Emlyn Roberts-Harry reviewed Season 1, saying “It’s worth watching for the style and for Farrell, but the overall plot just doesn’t hold together. Luckily, as we’ve noted, that isn’t the end of the world in these kinds of stories.” Read his full review using the link below.
Apple TV have also sent us some first look images.
