Ashley Darby Takes Jab At Wendy Osefo With Shady Joke About Recent Arrest
Just days after Wendy and her husband, Eddie, were arrested, Ashley Darby couldn’t resist taking a shot at her. The reality star was performing at a music showcase in Washington, D.C., when an audience member caught Ashley saying, “We’re making melodies, not catching felonies.” She doubled down with another joke, adding, “Zen Wen is in the pen.”

Ashley didn’t stop there — she stayed on Wendy’s head. She kept the joke going on her Instagram Story. When her friend Jules McGuire posted a pic of Ashley and her showcase crew with the caption, “Catching Melodies Not Felonies, Ashley reposted it to her own IG story.
Details On Wendy & Her Hubby Eddie Osefo’s Arrest
On Thursday, Oct. 9, Wendy and Eddie Osefo were arrested and taken into custody in Westminster, Maryland, for criminal fraud. TMZ first reported that Wendy had 15 charges, including seven felonies. Authorities stated that she allegedly made false statements and provided misleading information about an alleged burglary, resulting in fraud worth over $300. US Weekly added that a grand jury indicted her the same day she was arrested. Wendy also picked up a one-count misdemeanor for allegedly lying to authorities. Meanwhile, her hubby Eddie faces 18 similar charges — nine felonies, eight misdemeanors, plus another misdemeanor for also lying to the police. As of right now, they both have a $50,000 bond each.
‘RHOP’ Star Candiace Dillard Bassett Weighs In On The Osefo’s Charges
In addition to Ashley Darby, Wendy’s other ‘RHOP’ castmate Candiace Dillard Bassett also reacted to her arrest. During an interview with Fox News DC, Candiace told reporters she felt “shocked and sad” after hearing the news.
