Barcelona take on Athletic Club tonight. Follow the action with our live commentary…
It is not often a semi-final exit can be viewed in such positive terms but Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday left the Catalans with a feel good factor that they will hope to take into tonight’s clash with Athletic Club.
Trailing 4-0 from a disastrous first leg in the last four of the Copa del Rey, Barca almost completed another remarkable remontada but fell just short.
They head to San Mames on top of La Liga and in good shape to retain the title they won last season.
Athletic were also beaten in the Copa semis, going down to Basque rivals Real Sociedad.
