India are set to tour Australia for a white-ball leg, starting with a three-match ODI series kicking off on October 19 in Perth. The 50-overs rubber will be followed by a five-match T20I series through early November.

Shubman Gill will captain India for the first time in ODIs, marking a new era for Indian cricket, while legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma make a much-anticipated return after a long layoff. For Australia, Mitchell Marsh leads a squad in transition, aiming to bounce back from a string of bilateral losses. India’s squad, considered the No. 1 ODI side globally, enters with confidence, unbeaten in their last eight ODIs and fresh off Champions Trophy victory.

After the ODIs, the T20I series begins on October 29, with Suryakumar Yadav captaining India. The squad features Asia Cup stars Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma, while Hardik Pandya is unavailable due to injury. Australia, meanwhile, will be high on confidence after thrashing New Zealand under Marsh’s captaincy.
