Hulu Star Taylor Frankie Paul Will Be The Bachelorette Of Season 22
The Bachelorette is a spin-off of The Bachelor, which made its debut in 2003. Currently, the season is expected to release Season 22, which will premiere on March 22, 2026.
This season will feature Taylor Frankie Paul as the title “Bachelorette.” Taylor is the first series star who didn’t previously appear on a season of The Bachelor.
However, Taylor is not unknown to fans of reality television. Many were previously introduced to her through Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
While the series is expected to debut later this month, filming has already wrapped up. It’s believed that filming took place from late October to mid-December of last year, throughout California, Colorado, Nevada, and Florida. However, an insider recently shared that there is already trouble for the winning couple.
On Instagram, Steve Carbone of the “Reality Steve” podcast shared the news with a few spoilers. At the time, he revealed that Doug Mason of San Diego, California, was said to be the season’s winner.
The post claimed that Taylor and Doug, however, broke up since filming ended. As the post continued, “Taylor was never over Dakota.” This appeared to be in reference to Dakota Mortensen, Taylor’s on-again-off-again boyfriend, as seen on the Hulu series. As the source claimed, and as previously reported, it was believed that Taylor and Dakota had an intimate moment before filming began.
The Source Claimed That The Relationship Came To An End Around A Month After Filming Wrapped Up
It was claimed that Doug flew to Utah around a month after the engagement, which was said to be towards the start of the new year. It was then that Taylor was said to have ended the relationship.
However, it was unclear what reasons led up to the split, with reasons expected to be shared during the season’s finale. The post claimed, however, that it was unlikely that the breakup was due to anything “other than Dakota.”
That said, the source believed Taylor and Dakota were not currently in a relationship. As it was shared, “She is not with Doug anymore. Nor is she with Dakota. She just can’t seem to move on from him.”
The source noted that this was something fans likely expected. The post concluded, “No one should be surprised this was the ultimate outcome.” Ultimately, however, fans will likely need to watch the upcoming season to learn what really happened and further details of the story.
