The Chicago Bears have signed defensive tackle Neville Gallimore of Ottawa, Ontario. The terms of the contract are two years and worth $12 million according to Rogers Sportsnet.
Gallimore is joining his fourth National Football League franchise. He has previously played four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys from 2020 to 2023, and one season each with the Los Angeles Rams (2024) and Indianapolis Colts (2025).
This past season with the Colts, Gallimore had 38 combined tackles (18 solo tackles and 20 assisted tackles), six quarterback hits, four tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks and three pass deflections.
Gallimore has been an instrumental defensive force in his six seasons in the NFL. During his career, he has 147 combined tackles (65 solo tackles and 82 assisted tackles), 15 tackles for a loss, 16 quarterback hits, 7.5 sacks, and six pass deflections.
In the playoffs, Gallimore has also been productive. In his career, Gallimore has 13 combined tackles (seven assisted tackles and six solo tackles), two tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, 2.5 sacks and one safety.
We have seen great improvement by the Bears this past season. In 2024, Chicago was last in the NFC North with a record of five wins and 12 losses. Then in 2025, the Bears won the NFC North with a record of 11 wins and six losses.
