Over the weekend, the TTC launched Toronto’s Eglinton Crosstown LRT, with Bell providing network connectivity throughout the line.
Bell enabled open access to its competitors as well. The open model will allow users access through all 25 stations and underground tunnels to LTE, 5G, and 5G+ at most stations. Bell says that 5G+ is available in all stations except for Laird, Science Centre and Kennedy.

According to BlogTO, the new Line 5 is a lot faster than the bus services it replaced, taking 52 minutes to travel across the whole line.
The Crosstown LRT covers a 19km route, with over 10km running underground. Along with connecting 25 stations, it links to 54 bus routes, three TTC subway stations, and GO Transit lines.
Line 5 was initially set to open in 2020 but faced numerous delays, including the pandemic and issues with the contract structure.
