Ookla has released its Speedtest Awards for Q3 and Q4 of 2025, and Bell has come away as Canada’s Speedtest Awards Winner for 5G mobile network speed.
In terms of the fastest 5G mobile score, Bell took the top spot with a speed score of 46.75, followed by Telus at 42.66. Rogers sat almost five points behind Telus, finishing with 37.39. In terms of fixed networks, Bell’s PureFibre network finished in first with a Speedtest score of 77.45, but Telus’ PureFibre option was not far behind at 76.14. This was followed up by Rogers at 71.47, Cogeco at 65.47, and Videotron finishing at the bottom at 63.86.
Interestingly, the scores for the fastest fixed network between Q1/Q2 and Q3/Q4 have changed, as Bell dropped almost a point compared to Q1/Q2 (78.43), while Telus also fell in its score — finishing Q1/Q2 with a 77.03.
Bell also ranked first for the best ISP gaming experience, with a score of 97.97. Cogeco came in a few points behind Bell, with a 93.56, while Telus finished with a 93.44, Videotron with a 93.24, and Rogers took the last spot with a 92.96. Bell also took the top spot for mobile gaming, with a score of 86.87, while Telus came in second with 87.99, and Rogers finished third with 87.10.
