Bella confessed that she often felt “a deep sense of shame” about her mental health struggles. She wondered why her mind and body were “filled with the weight of sadness, depression, and debilitating anxiety on a regular basis” despite being blessed in life.

She implored those who resonated with her message to understand that they weren’t alone in their mental health struggles before raving about the benefits of a sound support system.

Bella noted that she could begin her healing journey because she not only had a good support system but also access to the needed resources. She wanted other children and those in need of these services to experience the same support, and she teamed up with UNICEF to achieve that.

“Access to mental health care is not a luxury- it’s a right. No matter who you are, where you come from, or what your story looks like, your pain and your healing matter… so so much,” Bella stressed. She implored fans to join her in making a difference through the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign.
