Bella Hadid’s runway comeback marks a significant milestone for her after sparking concerns about her well-being amid her battle with chronic Lyme disease. Additionally, she revealed her years-long mental health struggles in honor of World Mental Health Day.

The fashion event featured several OG models strutting their stuff on the runway; however, it was impossible not to do a double take when Bella appeared. She did not resemble her past self from a few months ago during her tears-filled stay at a German hospital.

Bella looked healthy, toned, and breathtaking with a stunning tanned glow that made her skin shine bright like diamonds under the spotlight. She debuted a new hairstyle for the show, trading her signature brunette hair for golden-blond tresses.

As seen in pictures shared by The Daily Mail, the model exuded confidence as she flaunted her flawless body in a red lingerie set. The sexy ensemble featured a red satin bra with matching high-waisted panties designed with lace detailing.

Bella paired the satin set with a red lace garter belt with straps connected to the lace of her thigh-high stockings. She completed the outfit with a red cape that flowed behind her and wore strappy heels. Naturally, her makeup matched the theme, giving an overall bombshell vibe.

After slaying the red lingerie set, Bella returned in a two-piece silver lingerie set that gave retro showgirl vibes. The outfit consisted of a bedazzled silver bra and matching high-waisted underwear, both designed with elaborate fringes that created a shimmering effect.

Bella complemented the glamorous number with white angel wings, a signature element of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The wings she wore were designed to resemble fluffy clouds, with their white, floral-like material adding an innocent, playful touch to the showgirl theme.

The fashion event also served as a runway reunion for the Hadid sisters, with Bella’s older sibling, Gigi Hadid, joining the show. She wowed fans in a pink lingerie set paired with a floral pink robe before rocking an all-white, angelic-themed ensemble.

Days before her return to the runway, Bella opened up about her hidden mental health struggles in honor of World Mental Health Day. The Blast reported that she shared the news on Instagram, sharing different quotes and messages linked to mental health.

One of the quotes came from late Hollywood icon Robin Williams, who tragically died by suicide in August 2014. His message noted that people faked being okay rather than pretending to have depression, a sentiment Bella echoed in her caption.

The media personality explained that she had quietly carried the weight of anxiety and depression for years because she felt ashamed. She initially believed her problems were her weakness until she realized her feelings deserved to be acknowledged, not hidden.

In her post, Bella explained that she received the help she needed by consulting professionals and having a strong support system. On that note, she implored fans to join her partnership with UNICEF to ensure those less fortunate could have similar resources.

Following her mental awareness message, The Blast shared that an insider claimed those around Bella were happy she broke her silence about her struggles. They claimed her family and friends had been increasingly worried because she struggled to be around people.

“When things get bad, she retreats. Her batteries seem to recharge when she’s alone,” the insider explained. They claimed Bella wouldn’t respond to anyone’s calls or text messages during this period, even her family. However, she did not outrightly ghost them, but would send replies like “I can’t talk today, sorry.”

Before the 2025 event, Bella’s older sibling opened up about her debut on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The Blast covered the story, reporting that Gigi got emotional while recalling how she was rejected three times before the brand gave her a chance in 2015.

“I continue to come back to this show, just so happy for her – that girl that got the first show, and also my teenage self who watched the show,” Gigi said about her past self. She noted that she was excited to return to the show but nervous because she had to do her best.

During her 2015 debut on the fashion show, Gigi faced immense backlash from many who body-shamed her for not having their ideal figure. She addressed the hate she received, claiming she would never change herself to fit anyone’s standards but her own.
