Boxing Day is here, which means carriers are rolling out all kinds of deals. Not all are great, but there are some surprisingly good offers out there.
So, with that in mind, here’s a rundown of some of the best deals we’ve seen at Canadian carriers this Boxing Day (or Boxing Week, if that’s how you’d rather look at it). We’ll go over wireless plans first, then go over some phone deals.
Before we get into things, a few reminders for you. First, many of the below deals are slated to end on Jan. 5, 2026, though some may end earlier and some may end later (or get extended). We’ll also try to keep this post updated, but carriers change things quickly, so if something is missing or changed, let us know.
Finally, as always, take the time to crunch the numbers on deals, as in many cases, it can be cheaper to buy a phone outright and pair it with a bring-your-own-phone (BYOP) plan than to finance one with a plan from a carrier.

Best Boxing Day Wireless Plan Deals
Freedom offering $9/mo BYOP discount on select plans, get deals like $39/70GB, $40/100GB, and more with Canada/U.S./Mexico use.
Public Mobile boosted data on its plans to offer very similar deals to Freedom — a great option if Freedom isn’t available in your area. Public is also offering a $35/75GB plan to some existing customers.
Get $35/100GB Canada/U.S. plans with Rogers, Bell, and Telus exclusively from Best Buy.
Fizz Mobile discounts plans by 50 per cent for three months for new subscribers — get a $23/100GB Canada/U.S. plan.
Rogers is offering tons of perks on some plans, including three months of free Citytv+, a year of free Uber One, $5/mo off Sportsnet+ for 12 months, and more. (Note the only “deal” on a plan is the $85/mo plan includes 25GB of bonus data. Otherwise, there are no discounts direct from Rogers.)
Bell is giving a year of free Perplexity Pro AI and bundling Crave Standard with Ads with select plans.
Flanker brands Koodo, Fido, and Virgin Plus all have $40/50GB and $45/70GB plans, factoring in bonus data, credits, and autopay discounts.
Best Boxing Day Smartphone Deals
It’s important to note that many of the below smartphone deals involve a device return program. In short, these programs offer lower monthly financing costs if customers agree to return the device after 24 months, or pay a fee to keep it. Some deals can be good if you want to upgrade your phone more regularly, but if you want to keep your phone for longer (which we recommend), you may want to keep that extra fee in mind.
