Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette has officially been canceled. However, this is not much of a shock to anyone after what has recently come out. She has been accused once again of abusing Dakota Mortensen. However, a video was released of the incident that happened in 2023. It showed her hitting and kicking Dakota. Not only that, but she threw three barstools at him. One ended up hitting her daughter in the head. This was awful, and fans could not believe what they saw. However, after this came out, ABC decided not to move forward with the season.
Bethenny Frankel Doesn’t Understand Why ABC Canceled
Bethenny Frankel has admitted that she does not understand why ABC canceled the season. However, it’s because she does not understand why they cast Taylor in the first place. Fans agree with her there.
“They knew about her domestic violence past, and apparently they cast her as the first non-Bachelor nation person, and they wanted the controversy and the redemption, so now they’re re-trading on that because the video was made public. I mean, a picture’s worth a thousand words, and audio’s worth a thousand words, but if someone was already involved in domestic violence, why would they cast her?”
She has a good point. However, fans are still disappointed in Taylor and cannot believe what has come out. This is not a good look for her, and her career is more than likely over.
It seems as though Bethenny Frankel does not understand why the show was canceled. However, she does not understand why they picked Taylor in the first place. They knew about her domestic violence charges in 2023. So, she does not know what made them think she was going to change. A lot of people agree with this and think they shouldn’t have cast her regardless.
