Sony and Marvel Studios have today revealed the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth film of Spidey’s solo MCU adventures, and you can watch it here!
The eighth appearance of the webslinger in the MCU, Tom Holland returns once more as our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, now having to come to terms with both the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the fallout of Dr Strange’s spell that wiped his identity from everybody’s memory. Which meant saying goodbye to his love, MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon). But there is no rest for Spidey when new threats arrive in New York City, including the reemergence of Mac Gargan (Michael Mando) aka Scorpion, and a powerful, unseen threat that could be the biggest he has ever faced.
Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal (as Frank Castle/The Punisher), Tramell Tillman and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk) also star. Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi) directs the film.
Synopsis |After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens in cinemas on July 31st.
