It takes a lot for a reality TV star to be let go from their job of entertaining viewers. However, one star’s recent behavior was so offensive that they were fired immediately. Now, another controversial Bravo personality revealed that they were warned about their behavior after the major firing. Keep reading for all the details.
Bravo Star Fired After Controversial Comments
In the early days of reality TV, it didn’t take much for cast members to be let go. However, reality TV personalities are now encouraged to act out for ratings. Yet, one Bravo star went too far and lost their job.
Jill Zarin was an original cast member on The Real Housewives of New York. She left after four seasons when the Bravo show overhauled the cast. However, she remained close with the network and made appearances over the years. She was part of an upcoming E! network show that featured several fan-favorite RHONY stars.
The Golden Life was to follow Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, and Jill Zarin as they left NYC behind for Palm Beach, Florida. However, Zarin was fired before she even filmed an episode. She’s since been replaced by RHONY alum Dorinda Medley.
Zarin faced major backlash in February when she posted an unhinged rant about Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show performance. The NFL’s picking Bad Bunny as the headliner sparked division. Turning Point USA aired an alternative to the Super Bowl with Kid Rock as the headliner.

Jill Zarin’s rant against Bad Bunny was seen as racist by many. The E! network quickly reacted by firing her from the new series.
TV Personality Warned About Behavior Following Major Firing
Several years after Jill Zarin left RHONY, the show faced a racism scandal. In response, Bravo fired the whole cast and rebooted it. Jill Zarin’s firing from E! was a wake-up call for many reality stars. One Bravo personality revealed that they were personally warned about their behavior following the major firing.
Jeff Lewis is close friends with Bravo host Andy Cohen. He hosted Flipping Out for 11 seasons before it was canceled in 2018. It was announced at BravoCon that Jeff Lewis is returning to the network with Still Flipping Out.

During a chat with fellow Bravo star Reza Farahan on his Jeff Lewis Live radio show, Jeff Lewis revealed he was warned about his bad behavior. “[Andy Cohen] was the one that was telling me, he was kind of like a careful warning, when I’m on this show talking about Bravo. On this show,” the Bravo star said.
Jeff Lewis clarified, “He’s not worried that I’m gonna go on a racist rant or anything like that. He just wants me to be careful about what I say about Bravo, like contracts, fines, money, you know, production,” the TV personality continued.
Jeff Lewis is one of Bravo’s most outspoken personalities, but he said the message from Andy Cohen was received. Tell us your thoughts on Andy’s memo in the comments below.
