Bravo Star Terry Dubrow Hit With Negligence Lawsuit
Several disgruntled reality stars have sued Bravo for discrimination, among other things. But in an unexpected move, a popular personality from the network is the one facing a lawsuit.
Terry Dubrow is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Bravo fans first met him when his wife, Heather Dubrow, joined The Real Housewives of Orange County. He teamed up with former RHOC husband Paul Nassif to star in Botched for the E! network. The doctors have treated a lot of successful botched surgeries.
Dr. Dubrow even assisted Real Housewives alum Brandi Glanville with a facial parasite. But not everyone was happy with the doctor’s work. A former patient, whose identity is anonymous, just filed a bombshell lawsuit against the Bravo star.
The former patient alleges she suffered serious complications after a botched boob job by Dr. Terry Dubrow. TMZ broke the news about the shocking lawsuit. The patient alleged that the esteemed doctor performed a breast augmentation on her in 2014, using mesh that wasn’t approved by the FDA.
The woman claimed in the lawsuit that his mistake led to a hematoma in her right breast, requiring two additional surgeries to fix. A different doctor did the follow-up surgeries.
The former patient is suing to recoup medical expenses, as well as lost wages. She claimed that she was unable to work after the botched boob job. The woman wants Terry Dubrow to pay a hefty sum.
Botched Star Reacts To Lawsuit
Terry Dubrow has been a doctor for over three decades. This isn’t his first lawsuit. He was reportedly sued in 2020 by a patient who claimed they had a near-death experience on the operating table. The case was thrown out. The RHOC star followed up by suing the patient’s lawyer for defamation.
It sounds like that’s the route he plans to take this time, too. “This case will be dismissed very quickly. The surgery was 12 years ago and the claims are not only untrue but a complete fantasy. The malicious prosecution counterclaim will be very interesting,” Terry Dubrow told TMZ about the current lawsuit.
Heather and Terry Dubrow returned to RHOC for Season 16 after several seasons away. Season 20 of the Bravo show reportedly starts filming soon. ‘OG of the OC’ Vicki Gunvalson is returning for the milestone season, but Heather Dubrow’s future with the Bravo show is uncertain.
