Team Canada had a record of three wins and zero losses on Monday in curling, the 10th day of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo. In men’s curling, Canada improved to a record of five wins and one loss thanks to a dominant 8-2 win over the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, in women’s curling, Canada is now back at the .500 mark after a commanding 10-5 win over China and a 9-6 win over Japan’s Sayaka Yoshimura.
In Canada’s win over the Czech Republic on the men’s side, Jacobs had stolen points in the second, third and fourth ends to take a 4-0 lead. There is only one team ahead of Jacobs in the standings. That is Switzerland’s Yannick Schwaller, who has a perfect record of five wins and zero losses.
On the women’s side, Homan came through with a big four ender against China in the fourth end thanks to an impressive double takeout. Then against Japan, Yoshimura’s final stone in the third end was too heavy, and Canada stole three points to take a 5-1 lead.
On Tuesday, Jacobs plays Great Britain, and Homan plays Sweden. The Swedish skip, led by Anna Hasselborg, the 2018 Olympic gold medalist, is undefeated at six wins and zero losses.
