Canadians have been annoyed waiting for the March Pixel Drop.
MobileSyrup’s EIC Jon Lamont has been getting emails from frustrated Canadians waiting for the Pixel Drop that was announced on March 3.
Lamont says his Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 haven’t received the update. And, I’ve been waiting for the update as well, wanting to try out some of the new features as part of the Pixel Drop; however, I finally see the update on my device.

This thread even claims that some users in the U.S. haven’t even gotten the update, so I’m happy it’s not just us.
I feel like this Pixel update is pretty big, which is why people are quite interested in this update. Some of the fun updates in the Pixel Drop include that Gemini can start working in the background to complete tasks such as re-ordering your usual coffee or booking a rideshare.
Circle to Search is letting users use multi-object image recognition, such as identifying a whole outfit or checking out every item of food in a bento box.
