    Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have confirmed their starting teams for their meeting at the Parc des Princes in the Champions League on Wednesday.

    The holders recovered from 2-0 behind to win the opening match of their knockout phase play-off last Tuesday, when substitute Desire Doue scored twice.

    Monaco, who beat PSG 1-0 at home in Ligue 1 on November 29, were reduced to 10 players in the 48th minute of the first leg when midfielder Aleksandr Golovin was sent off.

    • The first leg was the first European meeting between Monaco and Paris but both sides have been in all-French ties: Monaco were eliminated by Marseille in the 1998/99 UEFA Cup third round, while Paris beat Brest 10-0 on aggregate at this stage last season
    • Monaco have lost their last five two-legged European ties

    When is the draw for the Champions League round of 16?

    The draw for the Champions League round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals takes place on Friday 27 February 2026 at 13:00 GMT (08:00 ET / 05:00 PT).

    The ceremony will be streamed live on UEFA.com, UEFA.tv and the official Champions League app, with Monaco or PSG facing Barcelona or Chelsea in a two-legged tie starting during the week of March 9.

    Monaco are eighth in Ligue 1 and host 12th-placed Angers on Saturday (18:00 GMT) before travelling to PSG on March 6 (19:45).

    Reigning French champions PSG are two points above Lens and travel to 13th-placed Le Havre on Saturday (20:05).
