The Magpies’ 3-2 defeat at home to Everton on Saturday was their second successive league loss, leaving Eddie Howe’s side seven points shy of a potential European qualification position with 10 games of their top-flight season remaining.

Newcastle confirmed starting team vs Man United
Defender Tino Livramento, midfielder Bruno Guimaraes and full-back or midfielder Lewis Miley are out with hamstring injuries.
Centre-back Fabian Schar is expected to be out until April following ankle surgery and Emil Krafth will miss the rest of the season as the right-back recovers from a knee operation.
