Singer and actress Demi Lovato was set to go out on tour, but sadly, she has had to put this on hold due to her struggling health. Demi Lovato Has Battled Health In The Past
It has been a very long road for Demi Lovato. She spent many years in the spotlight, starting as a tween on Barney. As she grew up, Demi’s life shifted, and she sadly battled an eating disorder as well as drug addiction. This led to her heading to rehab at the tender age of eighteen, and it seemed like she was getting herself together. Unfortunately, in 2018, she had a horrible relapse, sharing this scary detail:
“The doctors told me that I had five to 10 minutes, like, if no one had found me, then I wouldn’t be here.”
Demi had allegedly overdosed on oxycodone laced with fentanyl, which nearly caused her death. She has worked hard on her health as she suffered strokes, brain damage, and a supposed heart attack from this OD.
Things have been much better for Demi Lovato as she tied the knot in May 2025 with Jordan “Jutes” Lutes. She made a stunning bride and soon announced that she would be going back on tour. Demi was to head out on the It’s Not That Deep Tour, with eighteen dates. She was going to perform from April 8th to May 25th, 2026, but sadly, she had to cancel five dates. The singer released a statement via her social media regarding her health and how she needed to step back to take care of herself:
“While starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible. To protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to build in more time to rest and rehearse and ultimately adjust to a schedule with some more time off that will allow me to handle the entire run of the tour.”
This cancellation affects three dates in April and two in May. Furthermore, Demi has moved her Orlando, Florida show from April 10th to the 13th, making that the first show.
A Lot Of Unhappiness
Although Demi Lovato has a valid reason for cancelling her shows, her fans are not so happy. They wish she did not plan these shows if she was not going to actually show up for them:

It looks like fans are not having any of Demi Lovato’s excuses, as they just want her to keep her promises. Moreover, this is allegedly not the first time she has done something like this. It could affect her negatively in the long run, and that is not a good thing.
