Derek Hough was certainly very much moved by the incident. The event and star dancer showed off a video of the Smash Talent Kids Africa than ever before; it was a spectacular execution of one of his opening routines he had choreographed for Extra TV a while ago. Hough narrated in the caption that this might be one of his most loved things he has seen in a long time. He termed the performance “so impressive” and urged the followers to support the little ones. The dance was by Kyle Hanagami.
The commentator who supported Derek’s comments was very quick and enthusiastic. An observer pointed out the significance of Hough’s recognition: “Those kids will be very pleased that you posted this!!” Another user shared this sentiment saying, “It is really great that you re-posted it. You are making them feel acknowledged and appreciated.”
A very good idea was spread across all the comments in no time. One user proposed, “It would be just wonderful to have these very talented kids performing on @dancingwiththestars. Just a suggestion.” The suggestion was received with very positive feedback, others exclaimed, “Please please bring them on DWTS!!!” and “You have to put them on @extratv!!! They are just great!!!” The conclusion was that a performance like this would be a memorable one for the little dancers.
The audience was amazed by the amount of talent that was displayed. One viewer screamed, “What was that all about?!?!!! Disgustingly brilliant in every way! Oh my God! These kids are the dance future!!!!!! Learning from a freaking master!!!!” Another one just called the video “What the internet was made for,” thus highlighting the good and uplifting nature of the content.
The whole performance class was: “crazy cute” and “amazing” and one even confessed he/she couldn’t say how many times he/she has already watched it. The emotional impact of dancing was also connected with one of the reflective comments: “The art does not know the borders of continents or the affluent and the poor. It also doesn’t evaporate in time. Dance and music spiritually can set the spirit to a higher place. They provoke emotions and feelings that no one can voice.”
The comments of support in different languages demonstrated the wide reach of the post. One in Spanish, “Que belleza …. Tienes que conocerlos en persona” means “What beauty … You have to meet them in person.” Another person noted, “Que inspiración! Qué hermoso el arte!” which translates to “What inspiration! How beautiful the art is!”
