Sean “Diddy” Combs is feeling remorseful over his past wrongs and has penned an emotional letter to Judge Arun Subramanian ahead of his sentencing.

The music mogul apologized for the “hurt” and “pain” he caused others and told the judge he was no longer running from his mistakes.

Reports earlier surfaced suggesting Donald Trump was open to pardoning Sean “Diddy” Combs, but that fell through after the president brought up the rapper’s past criticism of him.

Diddy wrote a moving note to Judge Arun Subramanian, in which he took full responsibility for the pain he caused others through his actions.

According to TMZ, the Bad Boy Entertainment founder acknowledged in a 4-page letter on Thursday that his behavior wasn’t the best and that he has “no one to blame for my current reality and situation but myself.”

Explaining that the last two years have been the hardest of his life, Diddy said he takes “full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs” before going further to explain that he has learned a lot since he was imprisoned more than a year ago.

He admitted that he has “made many mistakes,” but is “no longer running from them” as he has had to “look in the mirror” and work on himself. The 55-year-old rapper also apologized for putting his hand on his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, decrying how scenes from the disturbing moment still haunt him to this day, adding that he “literally lost his mind.”

He called his acts of domestic violence a “heavy burden” he’ll forever carry, and that he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to forgive anyone should they hit any one of his daughters like that.

Elsewhere in his letter, the “I Need A Girl” rapper went further to show the judge just how much he has changed in the past year behind bars.

“The old me died in jail, and a new version of me was reborn. Prison will change you or kill you—I choose to live,” he wrote, adding that he made the “best use” of his time in jail by “reading books, writing, working out, or in therapy.”

Pointing out the “good things” that have come out of his incarceration, he shared his joy about being sober for the first time in 25 years and also noted that one of the “most beautiful” things he experienced was having his inmates ask him to teach and mentor them.

Diddy then asks the judge for mercy, pointing out that he has “failed” his children as their father, but desires the “opportunity to return home and be the father that they need and deserve.”

He ended his letter by asking the judge to give him another opportunity to be a better son, father, community leader, and “another chance to live a better life.”

The Rapper’s Sentencing Day Is Already Here

Diddy’s letter comes ahead of his sentencing, which is scheduled for tomorrow, October 3, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Following a 6-week criminal sex trial that kicked off in May, the father of seven was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. However, he was acquitted on the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

The rapper faces up to 10 years in jail for each count of the conviction, with reports suggesting prosecutors want the judge to hand him a minimum sentence of 11 years.

Diddy’s lawyers, on the other hand, have asked that his sentencing be nothing more than 14 months, out of which he has already spent 12 months in jail.

Donald Trump Seemingly Considered Pardoning Diddy

President Donald Trump was reportedly open to granting Diddy a pardon, but became unenthusiastic because of the rapper’s negative criticism of him.

In an August interview on Newsmax with host Rob Finnerty, Trump discussed the possibility of presidential pardons for Diddy, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, and former Rep. George Santos.

“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Would you consider pardoning him?” Finnerty asked, but Trump took the highway, saying Diddy’s past negative comments about him would make it “more difficult.”

“Well, he was essentially, I guess sort of, half-innocent. I don’t know what they do, he’s still in jail or something,” Trump said of Diddy. “He was celebrating a victory, but I guess it wasn’t as good of a victory.”

“You know, I was very friendly with him, I got along with him great, seemed like a nice guy. I didn’t know him well, but when I ran for office, he was very hostile,” the president continued.

When host Finnerty told Trump that Diddy had said some “not so nice things” about him, he replied in the affirmative, while seemingly reminiscing about their past friendship.

“Yeah, and it’s hard,” Trump said. “You know, like you, we’re human beings and we don’t like to have things cloud our judgment, right? But when you knew someone and you were fine and then you run for office and he made some terrible statements… so I don’t know… it makes it more difficult to do.”

The host then clarified to know if it was “more likely a no for (pardoning) Combs?” to which Trump added, “I’d say so.”
