Donna Kelce Talks Taylor Swift Support After ‘Traitors’ Exit

Taylor Swift may be one of the biggest stars in the world, but according to her future mother-in-law, she’s just as invested in family moments as anyone else. Donna Kelce recently opened up about her experience competing on “The Traitors,” revealing how Swift showed support during her time on the reality series. The comments come as speculation continues to grow about Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce, which is rumored to take place in summer 2026.

During the reunion special for season four of the Peacock reality competition series, Donna confirmed that Swift followed along with her appearance on the show. “Yes, she’s a watcher. So is her family,” Donna shared. “They love ‘Traitors.'”

Donna was part of the newest season as the franchise’s first-ever “secret traitor,” though her run on the show was relatively short-lived, lasting only three episodes before she was ultimately banished from the game.

Despite her early elimination, Donna said her family was proud of how she handled the competition. When asked about their reaction, she explained, “They thought that I gave it my best shot, but they’re like, you know, you were probably more treacherous than we thought you could be,” she added.

Her brief appearance still generated buzz, especially given her growing public profile as the mother of two NFL stars and the future mother-in-law of one of the world’s most famous musicians.

Donna’s sons also shared their reactions on their “New Heights” podcast following her reality TV debut. “I thought she did fantastic,” Jason Kelce said at the time. “Like, I know she was eliminated, but I think it’s really hard to go into those shows as, like, an outsider that you become, like, an easy target to try and maneuver in that show. I loved watching her in it. She was way more deceitful and devious than I thought Mom could ever be, which was surprising.”

Travis echoed the sentiment, saying, “She stood her ground at the round table. I was so proud of her, man. She looked like she was having a blast, enjoying it all. It was just so cool to see her in this moment.”

He also took time to thank comedian Ron Funches for showing kindness toward his mother during filming, praising him for “sticking by her and being kind to her,” even after learning she was secretly playing the role of a traitor.

Donna’s comments arrive as rumors continue circulating about Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding. Reports suggest the couple may be planning a June 13, 2026, ceremony in Rhode Island, which would likely attract major celebrity attention given their high-profile relationship.

While neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed wedding details, excitement surrounding their future together continues to grow, especially as Swift’s connection with Travis’s family appears stronger than ever.

The Season 4 finale of “The Traitors” delivered a dramatic conclusion, with multiple banishments ultimately paving the way for the traitors to secure victory. After Johnny Weir was eliminated in a tight 3–2 vote, followed by Tara Lipinski being voted out 3–1, the remaining traitors, Rob Rausch and Eric Nam, successfully maneuvered their way to the endgame.

Even then, the tension wasn’t over. Two players opted to banish once more, adding to the suspense before the winner was officially revealed. Maura Higgins and Rob ultimately chose to banish Eric. That decision cleared the path for Rob to claim the entire prize pool, more than $200,000, as the final traitor standing at the end of the game.

In the end, “Love Island” star Rob Rausch emerged as the sole champion of Season 4, making history in the process. His victory marks the first time a traitor has won the U.S. version of the game since Cirie Fields claimed the title in Season 1. The two most recent seasons had instead ended with multiple faithful contestants sharing the prize, making Rob’s solo triumph one for the books.
