EB Games Canada has launched a “Secret Sale” for Boxing Day, offering various special unadvertised promotions exclusively in stores.
So far, we’ve seen at least one batch of solid deals.

As shared by user biomike55 on the Video Game Deals Canada Subreddit, via deals aggregator Lbabinz, one unnamed EB Games location has new copies of a variety of Switch 2 games for $69.99. Similar posts on Reddit and RedFlagDeals have corroborated these deals at other locations.
Here are some of the deals:
- Cyberpunk 2077 (regularly $99.99)
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment (regularly $99.99)
- Kirby Air Riders (regularly $99.99)
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (regularly $99.99)
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (regularly $114.99)
- Mario Kart World (regularly $109.99)
- Pokémon Legends: Z-A (regularly $99.99)
Biomike55 also notes that Joy-Cons are on sale, although his post didn’t clarify the lowered price. All in all, though, these are pretty good deals considering they’re all Switch 2 games (meaning they’re less than a year old), with some of them, like Age of Imprisonment and Kirby Air Riders, having come out as recently as November. Therefore, getting at least $30 off of them is noteworthy, especially considering Nintendo tends to only offer $25 off years-old first-party games, like it’s doing right now for Boxing Week.
I’ve tried to confirm with biomike55 where this store is located and will update this story should I hear back. In the meantime, it should be noted that your mileage may vary on these deals. Since EB Games isn’t promoting them publicly, there’s no guarantee that your local store will have these particular offers. Still, it’s worth checking your nearest EB Games store if you’re looking for some deals, especially as a Switch 2 owner.
