Even after Erin returned home, fans grew concerned when it appeared she was still dealing with health issues. Recently, Erin gave an update to fans over the situation.
Erin Bates Gave Birth To Her Seventh Child, Henry, Back In August
Erin Bates and her family became known to audiences through reality shows like United Bates of America and Bringing Up Bates. She is the second of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates’ nineteen children.
In her own personal life, Erin married Chad Paine in 2013. Last month, Erin recently made headlines when the family announced the birth of her seventh child, Henry. However, at the time, the family asked fans for prayers, revealing that Erin had been suffering from health complications.
Fans followed updates from the family on social media, revealing that she had endured a severe seizure and had spent time in the ICU. However, fans recently received a more positive update when Erin could be seen going back home to DeLand, Florida in a post on Instagram.
At the time, fans showed their concern, as Erin was seen using a wheelchair to get around. She soon explained that she had lost the function in one of her legs.
Seeing this, many fans continued to pray for Erin, asking the family for more. Taking to social media, Erin herself recently shared some news with fans.
On Instagram, Erin opened up with a more positive share, “One month of loving you and thanking God for His goodness EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Also celebrating that I made it out of pajamas… but only for two minutes before the pj life called me back. It’s the little things, friends!”
Erin Also Gave A Direct Response To A Fan Question In Another Post
Following this, Erin added an “update” concerning her leg. She added, “To answer many of your questions…My leg still isn’t functioning.”
However, while not the best of news, Erin still remained hopeful with the share, noting, “I am learning how to navigate using a walker and wheelchair much better now. I’ve been doing physical therapy consistently, and they are hopeful that time will heal!” In the hashtags, she also highlighted that she was still on her “healing journey.”
As previously reported, Erin also responded directly to a comment in another post asking about her leg. At the time, she shared, “I haven’t had any change yet, but feeling hopeful! Thank you so much for praying!”
The photo Erin included in the post also showcased the family’s happiness at this time. In it, Erin and Chad looked down, smiling at their newborn son.
Fans also took the comments to share words of support with Erin on social media during this time. Many also touched on the moment with Henry and his parents in the photo. Some comments included:
