It has not been a good week for Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior with two comprehensive defeats to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League either side of a league reverse to Newcastle.
He has also had to cope with more online ridicule for passing a note containing tactics to Alejandro Garnacho late on in the PSG defeat at Stamford Bridge with his team already 8-2 down on aggregate.
While that won’t necessarily bother the Chelsea hierarchy, a failure to secure a Champions League spot for next season most likely will.
Everton won’t roll out the red carpet for the Londoners. David Moyes has built a solid, if unspectacular, side and they remain in contention for a European spot.
