There’s nothing better than a film that asks you leave your brain behind, strap in and enjoy the ride. Next month Prime Video might bring us the escapism we’re looking for in the shape of The Bluff and we’ve been given a first taste of it.
The Bluff promises a violent action adventure in the world of pirates, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karl Urban. Frank E Flowers directs with The Russo’s (including sister Angela Russo-Otstot) on board as a producer. Chopra Jonas is legendary pirate Bloody Mary who, after a life of violence, now lives in peace. But her tranquility is broken when her former captain (Urban) seeks revenge and pushes her back into the world she thought she’d escaped.
